£35,300per annum, Sheffield, 2 weeks AM shift 1 week PM shift, temp to perm, on site free parking, Premium overtime, on site free parking, fantastic benefits upon permanent offer including Death in service, 33 days holiday, pension, Life insurance, Death in service.

We are proud to be working in partnership with a large family owned business employing almost 200 people across South Yorkshire to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on a full time temporary to permanent basis. Reporting into the Maintenance Manager your role of Electrical Maintenance Engineer will include:

• Carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on furnaces including induction and gas.
• Performing maintenance on mixing machines, motors, overhead cranes, panel builds.
• Providing prompt response to reactive maintenance requirements to reduce production down times.
• Ensuring planned preventative maintenance is completed as required in a timely manner.
• Fault finding on a variety of machinery and carrying out the necessary repairs.
• Working with PLC's including Mitsubishi and Siemens
• Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines.

This role would suit candidates with experience of working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Technician or Electrical Engineer working within a manufacturing, foundry, engineering, steelworks, production or castings environment. Ideally you will;

• Be comfortable working at heights (cranes)
• Be apprentice trained.
• Ideally certified with 18th edition wiring regulations (not essential)
• Possess knowledge of PLC's (advantageous not essential)
