Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer to join a rapidly growing and innovative company within the offshore/renewable industry based in the Scarborough area . Working as part of the Quality Team this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to come in and make this role their own!

The successful Compliance Officer will be responsible for:

• Carrying out regular checks, assessments and internal audits as scheduled
• Maintaining the Integrated Management System
• Be the point of contact for external audits & prepare teams for audits
• Keep up to date with legislation, regulations and contract requirements
• Creating thorough reports on any findings, including good practice and any shortcomings
• Identify root causes of any non-conformances and create improvement plans to ensure non-conformances are addressed and rectified
• Lead the monthly IMS meetings
• Raise concerns or issues as appropriate and work with the relevant teams to resolve these

The ideal candidate must have some relevant experience in a similar role. Experience of external audits and excellent internal auditing skills are both essential and you must be able to provide effective and constructive feedback. You should be highly organised, decisive and have a strong eye for detail. This is a great time to join an established and successful growing business and work with a great team of people.

This role offers a salary up to £29,000 (DOE) and the business is commutable from Scarborough, Bridlington, Driffield, Pickering, Malton and surrounding areas
