Teaching Assistant Level 2 – Grade D - 6 – 11 Specific purpose Fixed Term

Hours: 32.5 hours per week Term Time plus 1 day

Salary £23,893 - £25,979 per annum pro-rata (actual salary £17,629 - £19,168 per annum)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an individual with the enthusiasm and commitment to support the teaching and learning of our pupils.

St-Joseph’s RC Primary School is looking to appoint a Learning Support (Level 2).

The successful applicant will be effective, organised, enjoy working with children and someone who can work well with other members of staff.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the patience, commitment and passion for developing pupil’s learning and social, emotional and mental health. To have high expectations for their attainment and development, a focussed attitude, personal integrity and professionalism, and the willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of a continuously improving organisation.

You will need to have strong communication skills and be able to easily build rapport with children as well as demonstrating resilience, persistence and the ability to discover and implement those strategies which best engage pupils in their learning.
