Job description
Experienced Manager of Production and Transport required for our client based in Burton-On-Trent.
We are currently seeking someone to join our client’s fantastic team as a Production/Transport Manager.
Your daily tasks will include (but not be limited to):
• Management of production
• Overseeing all output
• Oversee stocking levels and order appropriate stock for production
• Monitor volumes of stocks between areas
• Booking deliveries
• Issuing delivery schedules to drivers
• Ensure production is running effectively and in time with delivery schedule
• Vehicle control (service and maintenance)
• Machine control (service and maintenance)
• Weekly and monthly reporting
• Set weekly goals for sales, production and output
• Monitor deadlines and manage client feedback and complaints.

Hourly Rate: In return for your hard work, you will be paid £38,000 per annum.
Working Hours: You will be working Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30.

We ask that all applicants for this role have experience as a production and transport manager, due to company size and tasks required, they are looking for someone capable of wearing both hats.
The ideal candidate will have:
• At least two years of previous experience
• Management experience and skills
• Organised and diligent approach to work
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Very organised
• Good IT skills and reporting experience
• Hard working, punctual and reliable
You are also required to have your own transport, for occasional meetings and client visit purposes.
