• Position: Electrical Site Manager
• Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum plus very good staff benefits, company vehicle (van), private healthcare. Some overtime is likely dependent on the particular site requirements and is paid. Discretionary bonus scheme.
• Location: Ellesmere Port, Cheshire
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. This project is expected to run for around 6-8 months. Once completed there will be opportunities to work at other sites in the UK.
• Ellesmere Port based (Chester area)

The Role – Electrical Site Manager

To oversee the day-to-day installation works of fire detection and gas suppression installation and commissioning work.

Responsible to the Project Manager.

Location:

This is a site-based role based close to Ellesmere Port with occasional visits to head office in the West Midlands.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Overseeing of site installation sub-contractors through site inspections etc in terms of safe working, progress, adherence to construction drawings, putting operatives to work etc.
• Liaising with client representatives at site level including progress meetings, safety meetings etc.
• Liaising with project team members.
• Deliver site tool-box talks.

Competencies, knowledge and experience required:

• IT literate (word, excel, use of on-line resources)
• Minimum 3 years experience in installation and site supervision within the construction industry, preferably in the fire protection industry or building services (piping) industry.

Qualifications required:

• CITBSMSTS (Site Manager Safety Training Scheme) card holder.
