A 2-form-entry primary school in Sutton are looking for a trained primary teacher to join their school ASAP to teach in Year 6 two days a week.

The Role

In this role you will be teaching in year 6 two days a week (Monday and Tuesday) as part of a class teacher job share. With many of the plans already in place, you will work alongside the class teacher and the other teacher within the year group to prepare lessons and learning activities.
You will need to be able to quickly establish positive relationships with a range of pupils and be able to manage the classroom effectively. The class are settled and working at a good level but require a dedicated teacher to support them until the end of the academic year. There are pupils with Special Educational needs in the class and you will be supported by experienced Teaching Assistants.
This role is offered on a part-time basis (2 days a week), with an immediate start.
Due to the mid-year start date the school are looking for an experienced teacher who has an understanding of the year 6 curriculum and KS2 SATS.
