Job description
Robert Half Talent Solution are partnering with a manufacturing company based in Bridgend to recruit an experienced Accountant on a Temporary to Permanent basis.
Starting ASAP, this role will report to the Financial Controller and offers hybrid & flexible Working.
The role:
- Closure of month end accounts
- Preparation of the annual budget and in year forecasts
- Working with budget owners to understand variances and related drivers
- Ensuring that financial policies are adhered to
- Support the FC in the completion of the year-end accounts and annual statutory audits for the Group
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Assisting members from other teams with finance related queries
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified Finance professional
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and ability
- Excellent communications skills
- Previous experience in the Manufacturing industry would be highly regarded
