We are now seeking a UFH Design Technician to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a UFH Design Technician, you will produce installation plans for underfloor heating systems in both commercial and domestic projects.
Working alongside the pre-construction team, you’ll use your AutoCAD skills to prepare and convert floor plans into bespoke heating designs, ensuring they’re efficient and easy to install and operate.
You’ll oversee system performance calculations and produce technical submittals, ensuring all systems you design are of the highest quality standards.
Additionally, you will:
- Prepare O&M manuals
- Provide technical support to customers
- Manage and update the design programme
- Produce material schedules
About You
To be considered as a UFH Design Technician, you will need:
- A working knowledge of AutoCAD software, with experience of extracting area and perimeter measurements using polylines
- The ability to draught a basic building layout from a hand drawing with dimensions
- The ability to effectively manage your own workload
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Great attention to detail
- At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at level 4 (grade C) in English, Mathematics and Science
