Are you an experienced administrator with excellent administration and communication skills along with excellent customer service? We are looking for a full-time Bank Administrator/Secretary with the right values, skills and/or potential to join us. We need people with energy, expertise, enthusiasm to help us provide the very best possible specialist NHS care. This involves helping us achieve our strategy to improve the quality of life for the communities we serve through People, Prevention and Partnerships.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the friendly administration team within the very busy West Sussex CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team based in New Park House in Horsham.

Excellent communication and listening skills are required for this role, along with organisational and problem-solving skills. IT skills, accuracy, flexibility, and the ability to work as part of a team are all essential for this role.

The West Sussex CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Team consists of clinical staff across West Sussex that have expertise in assessing and working with children/young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD.

This position will be based in Horsham with free parking, close to the railway station and easily accessible by road.

Main duties of the job

This role is to provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to the clinical team. To liaise with other departments and services and to respond effectively to enquiries from the general public, service users, referrers and other agencies.

Tasks include taking telephone enquiries from service users, diary management; arranging appointments; correspondence; email management; spreadsheet management; minute taking, working alongside and providing admin support to the clinical team.

A good working knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. Knowledge of the electronic patient record, Carenotes is desirable, but full training will be given.

You will require excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with service users and the multi-disciplinary team, which consists of Consultant Psychiatrists, Nurses, Psychologists, Managers, Mental Health Practitioners and Support Workers.
