Job description
Our in house Studio team are looking to add an Instructional Designer to their innovative team who are dedicated to shaping the future of eLearning. Your role will be pivotal in merging compelling design with effective learning strategies to offer end-to-end learning solutions that delight clients and empower learners.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who is not only passionate about digital learning but also possesses a deep understanding of instructional design and creative content development. The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years' commercial experience in eLearning or related creative industries.
- Advanced proficiency in the Articulate 360 suite, with a particular focus on Storyline and RISE.
- Familiarity with SCORM 1.2/2004/xAPI standards.
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility guidelines.
- A solid foundation in adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
About The Role
As a key member of our team, this role plays a crucial part in the creation of engaging and effective eLearning solutions. The primary responsibilities include:
- Contribute to brainstorming and solution forming during project proposal and kick-off stages.
- Consult with clients to identify their learning objectives, create storyboards, and develop tailored learning solutions.
- Collaborate with Graphic Designers to conceptualize and create engaging eLearning modules using leading authoring tools, such as Articulate 360.
- Apply adult learning theories to craft structured and impactful learning paths, defining measurable learning outcomes, and developing assessments.
- Rigorous testing module functionality and outcomes before QA Team review and client delivery.
- Maintain timely communication with Project Managers to ensure clarity in progress and smooth delivery. Presenting project updates to clients as needed.
- Provide clear guidance to the content development team and working closely with Instructional and Visual Designers to ensure a high standard of delivery.
