WHAT TO EXPECT
This role will develop new analytics products across all aspects of Manufacturing. Our Analytics Developers work in partnership with the Customer and Data Engineers to produce insightful analytical solutions to address business challenges within tight deadlines.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
As an Analytic Developer, you will define and translate Manufacturing problems/requirements into analytics requirements/solutions – in line with Product owner relationship with Manufacturing and taking on board their thinking. You will develop, implement and enhance analytic insights and products using a wide range of analytics tools and some data engineering, conceptualise, develop and manage the delivery and optimisation of analytics solutions; ensure solution meets Manufacturing's needs, and identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and communicate conclusions to the business. You will also resolve insight questions using a storytelling approach to provide Manufacturing clients with detailed, actionable solutions, and undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Essential:
Technical expertise in a business intelligence tool (e.g. Tableau)
Outstanding ability to structure, analyse/ interpret data
Working knowledge in SQL (e.g., joins, CTEs, UDFs, stored procedures)
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Previous experience of delivering impactful, value-generating analysis /insight
Previous experience of challenging stakeholders to determine “need” from “want”
Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
