Job description
Pulse are currently seeking a determined band 8a Clinical Psychologist to be welcomed into our client’s Adult Community Mental Health team within a fantastic NHS trust based in Preston, Lancashire. This position will be available for the appointed Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible, working full-time/part-time hours for an ongoing period. Our client will also welcome Newly Qualified Psychologists as well as experienced candidates.
The Clinical Psychologist will undertake assessments, formulate care plans and deliver therapeutic interventions for adults with complex mental health needs. The psychologist will also support a like-minded multidisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapists, CBT Therapists, Psychiatrists, and other clinical staff. The role will also encompass service development, training, supervision, and consultation work with other professionals in collaboration with the broader psychology service in the locality.
