HGV Technician
Kentish Town
£39,493 per annum plus a shift allowance of £78.00 per week when working the 13:30 - 22:00 shift. A weekend supplement for Saturday (£50 per attendance) and Sunday (£100 per attendance) shift attendance is applicable. Saturday working will be required on a rotational basis once every 3 weeks. This workshop is not currently operational on a Sunday.
39.5 hours per week (rotating shift pattern; Earlies x2 - Lates x1. Earlies: 06:00 - 14:30, Lates: 13:30 - 22:00)
Driving - up to 3.5 tonne (Primary), Driving - C1 licence up to 7.5 tonne with tachograph, Driving - C+E Professional Driver (LGV) with tachograph

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s main dealership in Kentish Town. The successful Vehicle Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle makes and models. This position requires a strong understanding of automotive systems and the ability to use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

HGV Technician Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
HGV Technician Requirements:
• At least 1 year of experience as a HGV technician
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and software.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver's license
