Tackle real-world challenges by working with the R&D team to wards understanding customers’ real challenges and how their samples properties affect data for providing an overall better user experience.

About the Role:
Duration: 13 months , starting July 1st, 2024, ending 25 th of July 20 25 .
Salary: £18,525 per year .
Benefits: 25 days paid holiday + UK bank holidays, employee assist program and more .
Location: Malvern office .
Hybrid working, based on your tasks.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a STEM degree ( Chemistry, Physics, Natural Science ) that offers an Industrial Placement Year .
Right to work and live in the UK for the duration of the placement.
Creative thinking – design will be at the heart of this work.
Curiosity and desire to learn – the project s are interdisciplinary .
A scientific approach to problem solving.
Strong collaboration and communication skills .
For a lab-based placement:
An understanding of experimental planning and how to work in a laboratory environment independently .
An interest in understanding customer needs and communicating results.
Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment and strong organizational skills to manage time effectively.
Ability to quickly learn and apply new techniques and methodologies .
For an algorithm-based placement
Enrolled in a numerical degree such as (Maths, Physics, Comp u ter Science etc ) .
Experience of scientific programming (Python/Matlab or similar) .
Experience with data analysis and statistics.
