Job description

Are you a dedicated and compassionate teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) diagnoses and complex needs?

GSL Education are actively on the lookout for dedicated SEMH Teacher to provide crucial support to the   SEMH School   based in   Basingstoke and its surrounding areas.  We consider applications from unqualified teachers as well. 

Both experienced and Early Career Teachers (ECT)s are encouraged to apply.

Daily Pay: £150 - £200
Location: Basingstoke
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Long Term, Full Time

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong behaviour management.
  • Comfortable working in environments with challenging behaviour.
  • A passion and desire to work with students that have additional needs.
  • Be resilient and patient.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS, PGCE ).
  • Strong behaviour management.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of  SEMH educational needs and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
