Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for an appropriately qualified and experienced practitioner to develop leadership skills as a Deputy Team Lead within the Talking Therapies Leadership Team. The role, which is a 1.0 WTE job, offers the opportunity to gain considerable experience in service development, managerial, and additional supervisory skills. You will join a friendly and supportive clinical and managerial leadership team that also includes a CBT lead, Counselling lead, PWP lead, consultant clinical lead, Strategic manager/training academy leads and Team Leads.
We are looking for applicants with substantial experience of working within the field of mental health and ideally some knowledge and experience of working within an IAPT service, working with complex client presentations, and providing formal clinical supervision / mentorship to qualified clinical staff.
You will have a proven track record of delivering high quality therapy and have excellent interpersonal qualities; time management skills; an ability to work autonomously and in a team; and an enthusiasm for working in an ever-developing IAPT environment.
The post-holder will work alongside the clinical and managerial leadership team, providing additional support to Team Leads and Clinicians alike within the respective teams. The post-holder will need to be available to work full-time Monday-Friday. There will be an expectation to work from base when needed.
The post holder will receive regular managerial supervision and support and join other senior clinicians within the service.
