Job description
My client is based in Maidstone, Mid Kent, they are an established small accountancy firm looking for an accountant to join their team. They are looking for a qualified accountant or someone who is qualified by their experience and has the depth of experience to bring with them maturity and knowledge which will allow them to engage effectively with their varied client base. This role would suit someone who has worked in a general accounting capacity who has an understanding of working with corporate clients, someone with a good accounts bias with knowledge of corporation tax issues.
The role will be working with Director and the Partner and being responsible for managing a client portfolio so experience is key. You will be responsible for the preparation and finalising of the client accounts, preparing corporation tax computations and personal tax returns, advising in all areas. You will be proficient in sage and Iris and be IT literate. This is a friendly a professional environment and due to the nature of the clients, they would like to have someone predominately office-based but can offer some flexibility. It is key that you are happy to work in a small but professional environment.
