The Key Account Manager is an exciting new role, joining an established team you will be based from our client’s office in East Lothian. Playing a pivotal role within the organisation, you will demonstrate high levels of account management to nurture and develop our clients’ customer base. Role Responsibilities:
- To forge and cultivate relationships with existing and potential customers
- Be the main point of contact for customers, responding to their needs in a professional manner
- Develop a strong network within the industry and keep updated on trends and current issues
- Implement and deliver strategic plans to meet sales and performance targets
- Actively promote the company’s range of products through attendance at shows, site visits and exhibitions
Skills you will need
Essential:
- Experience of key account management or a similar sales role
- The ability to build and maintain strong business relationships
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- The experience and willingness to work with third party organisations e.g. charities and councils
- Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
- A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across the team
- Excellent IT skills and use of Microsoft Office Suite
