My client is searching for a highly motivated, proactive Assistant Accountant to join their fast-paced Finance team. This role would suit someone who's looking for that next step in their career, or somebody who is looking for exposure to different areas of finance, to support their studies.

You will support a Finance Manager in the delivery of weekly forecast reporting, as well as supporting the month-end close process, by maintaining accurate working papers and reconciling to the financial statements.

A summary of duties will include :

• Process weekly and ad-hoc supplier payments
• Support cash flow forecasting *
• Assisting with the general ledger month end
• Prepare daily and monthly sales reporting to senior business stakeholders
• Identify processes to ensure best practice, compliance with policies and accuracy of reporting
• Support audit & preparation of the group's statutory financial statements
• Identify possible risks/opportunities on a monthly basis
• Support with project related work
