Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Reintegration and Inclusion Worker (Level 4 Zone 2) to join our team. As a Reintegration and Inclusion Worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with diverse backgrounds who are seeking to reintegrate into society and overcome barriers to inclusion. This is a challenging but rewarding position that requires strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of the complexities of social inclusion.
In this role, you will work directly with clients, providing them with support, guidance, and access to resources as they navigate the process of reintegrating into society. You will collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and psychologists, to develop personalized plans and strategies to address the unique needs of each individual. Your role will include assisting clients in finding suitable housing, employment, education, healthcare, and community resources. Additionally, you will provide emotional support and advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their successful reintegration and inclusion in society.
Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support and guidance to clients throughout the reintegration process
Assess the needs and develop personalized reintegration plans for each client
Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate services and resources for clients
Assist clients in accessing housing, employment, education, healthcare, and community resources
Provide emotional support and ensure clients are connected to appropriate counseling and mental health services
Advocate for clients' rights and needs, and address any barriers to their reintegration and inclusion
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports
Participate in team meetings and attend relevant trainings and workshops to enhance professional development
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
Proven experience working with individuals facing challenges related to reintegration and social inclusion
Knowledge of community resources and services available to support clients
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to handle challenging situations with sensitivity and professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:30
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £157.36
Location: Camden, North West London
