Job description
This is an exciting opportunity for a fun, engaging and responsible person to help me enjoy social activities. I am a lively, social 13 year old boy with ASD, so somebody who understands this would be preferable.
I am looking for a second PA who can work for 6 hours during school term time and up to 18 hours during school holidays. Being able to cover my other PA holiday/absence would also be helpful so I don't miss out. I need one day after school per week plus one weekend day if possible although I am flexible.
I am very active, and want someone who will enjoy taking me to play football, cycling, trampolining, swimming, rough and tumble play and going to the park and making friends. You’ll need to be happy to join in and be able to instigate fun activities and keep me engaged. I need someone who knows how to set boundaries and instill positive behaviour.
Having access to a vehicle and a clean driving licence is essential so that we can get out and about. Fuel costs will be covered for miles travelled whilst working with me.
You will need an enhanced DBS, but this can be provided if you don’t already have one.
Rate of pay is £11.50 per hour, 4 weeks paid holiday entitlement plus bank holidays and access to pension scheme
