Robert Half are currently recruiting for an exciting job opportunity for the role of Accounts Assistant with a non-profit organisation based in Bath.

Position: Accounts Assistant

Location: Bath

Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 (Temp to Perm)

Start Date: Immediate

At a non-profit organisation, that's committed to making a positive impact on the community, and we are currently seeking a talented individual to join the finance team in the role of Accounts Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

• Maintain up-to-date Sage accounts for Bath Abbey and Bath Abbey Ltd.
• Manage cash flow, credit card statements, and employee expenses in Sage.
• Monthly update of stock purchase invoices and ad hoc reporting.

Purchase Ledger:

• Code and enter invoices in Sage using Verify auto-recognition.
• Oversee rollout of auto-recognition system.
• Reconcile invoices, manage approvals, and coordinate payments.
• Bank Reconciliations.
• Bi-Weekly supplier payment runs.

Sales Ledger:

• Input invoice information in Sage, monitor aged debtors report.
• Address invoicing issues with concert administrator.

Hybrid Working: Enjoy the flexibility of a hybrid working model, with 1-3 days in the office and the remainder working remotely.
