Job Description
The Legal Counsel will work as part of a large In-house function and a sub team of 3 lawyers and get involved in a range of work which will include;
- You will provide corporate advice in an in-house Financial Services context
- You will support on the banks investment programmes
- Provide legal support to product areas specialising in funds investments
- Coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary.
- Contribute to know-how and training
- Support the wider team on other areas and governance
The Successful Applicant
The successful Legal Counsel should have:
- Strong academics and training from a regional, national or international law firm.
- A background in Corporate law
- Experience working in private practice or in Industry as a Corporate lawyer
- Ties to Sheffield
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- A competitive salary which is dependent on experience but between £61-70,000
- Up to 18% pension contribution.
