Connex Education is working with a Secondary School in County Durham who are recruiting for an English Teacher to work full- time.

The school itself is a mainstream school based in County Durham and surrounding areas. All staff at the school aim to provide pupils with a nurturing and engaging learning environment. They are looking for a English Teacher who is hard working, resilient and who wants to make a difference to pupils education.

Assignment Details

This role will commence asap and will last for the remainder of the academic year.

Person Specification

• Have experience teaching English to KS3 & KS4 level, with demonstrable impact on pupil progress
• Hold QTS or PGCE certification with subject specialism in English
• Have excellent classroom management and organisational skills
• Promote English in a positive way to engage and motivate students
• Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
