The Role
We are looking for a Senior Personalisation Manager, a newly created role within the Digital & Insight department to join us on an exciting journey to redefine our personalisation strategy across Marketing, aiming to increase engagement, supporter sentiment and underpin our commercial growth.

Your day-to-day
- Lead the migration - from a traditional campaign by campaign approach to our supporter interactions, to a supporter first, insight led journey-based approach
- Personalised marketing strategy - working collaboratively with key senior stakeholders to set the Personalised Marketing Strategy, and in turn, work with the wider Marketing function to embed these principles which will support the migration to a supporter first, insight led journey-based approach to supporter interactions
- Supporter first approach - championing a supporter-first approach throughout, you'll lead and inspire your team to deliver journeys that cut across organisational boundaries demonstrating the benefit of thinking and working in a different way
- Managing marketing technology - managing the existing Martech stack and oversee any vendor selection processes for, & implementation of, new technology, such as an Omni-Channel Marketing tool
- Planning and strategy - Be a key figure in developing our approach to decisioning and next best actions, working alongside internal data and insight teams
- Data management - oversee critical integrations and data flows between the Data Warehouse and downstream Martech platforms, with the support from internal technical stakeholders and 3rd parties
- Data analysis - work with the data and insight teams to analyse the effectiveness of our personalised Marketing, in order to optimise output
- Team management - responsibility for a team of 4, taking on additional responsibility in this area as the team grows
What we are looking for
- Marketing expertise Experience of working in a range of marketing operations and/or engagement roles specifically setting and delivering omni-channel strategies
- Track record of delivering - experience of having implemented and delivered journey based personalised marketing & mapping out key journeys to be implemented
- Technical excellence - experience of working with CDPs/Omni-channel Marketing tools
- Analytical - experience in deploying advanced analytics and machine learning for next best action decisioning personalising communications
- Excellent communicator - experience in communicating to, and influencing, stakeholders – right up to the most senior levels
- Creative mindset - a passion to innovate and willingness to challenge the status quo
- Data driven - experienced at understanding, analysing and interpreting complex data and insight to inform strategy and decision making, with excellent commercial acumen and a high level of attention to detail
- Leadership skills - experience of leading a team and be able to motivate and develop others to fulfil their full potential
