Smile Education Northwest have an excellent opportunity available for a dedicated HLTA based in south Manchester.
We are currently seeking a HLTA to join friendly and forward-thinking primary school. This is a full-time role and primarily based on supporting pupils with phonics work. You will be working with a mixed Year 1 and 2 class, delivering pre-planned lesson materials. This role is ideal for experienced HLTA’s and requires no planning with very little marking. You will be working closely with the Class Teacher and receive full support in delivering content to small groups. This is an exciting role at busy and thriving primary based in the south Manchester area. The school is in proximity to Levenshulme, Burnage, Fallowfield, and Withington. The expected salary range is £90-100 per day. What to expect from applicants? We would like applicants to have a HLTA qualification or a Level 3 qualification with considerable class-based experience. To be successful in your application, you should have experience in one or more of the following: - A HLTA qualification or a Level 3 TA qualification with at least 5 years of classroom based experience - Knowledge of UK National Curriculum - Prior experience in supporting pupils with phonics learning and intervention - Able to deliver pre-planned lesson content to small groups and on a 1:1 basis We are committed to safeguarding children.
