Vickerstock are working in partnership with a manufacturing firm based in Toome on the appointment of a Material Planner.

In your new role:
- Big focus of continuous improvement always aiming to improve efficiency within the procurement/planning department
- Responsible for quality, cost and delivery performance of designated suppliers, ensuring all materials are on site an on time
- Raising and managing all purchase documents within the ERP system
- Build relationships with key suppliers assessing and managing risks of supply for designated suppliers via risk management approach
- Ensure inventory levels of materials supplied by designated suppliers adhere to company policy
- Continually monitor supplier performance
What you will need to succeed:
- Over 2 years experience working a material planning, inventory management or purchasing position
- Proficient with us of MRP/ERP and/or all Microsoft Office packages
