Job description

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting Employment Officers on a permanent full-time basis with a salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per year.

The roles will be based in the below locations:

• Armagh
• Banbridge
• Craigavon
• Newry

Responsibilities:

With a full copy of the Job Duties and Person Spec available on request, you will:

• Provide participants with exceptional support, enabling participants to secure and sustain employment in the job they want.
• Have a particular focus on securing jobs for participants, and promoting learning and work experience to ensure individual goals are achieved.
• Engage with parents, employers, and carers to ensure opportunities and outcomes can be achieved by participants professionally.

Requirements:

• Level 2 Maths and English minimum.
• 1-year minimum of paid experience working in assisting individuals into work, liaising with employers, or people with learning disabilities.
• MS Office proficiency.
• Excellent communication skills along with presentation and public speaking skills.
• Demonstrable knowledge and articulation of the principles of supported employment.
• Flexibility to working hours and travel.
• Full driving licence and access to a car.
