Job Title: Health & Safety Advisor
Location: Ashford, Kent
Hours of Work: Day Shift, Monday - Friday
Contracted Hours: 37.5hrs per week
Salary: Up to £42k per annum (dependant on experience)
About the Role
In this role your main responsibility will be to lead the sites Health and Safety framework, providing insight and guidance to improve the behavioural safety culture at our Ashford Site.
What we need from you:
The ideal candidate for the role will be able to demonstrate that they can:
Work collaboratively with senior H&S professionals to make sure that the business is compliant with H&S regulations, challenging in a positive way when necessary to make sure we’re getting positive outcomes.
Engage with colleagues across all levels of the site to influence policies, frameworks, and any upcoming projects from an H&S perspective.
Support with 45001 audits, customer audits, Sedex audits and legislative visits.
Deliver various elements of training and education to stakeholders at Ashford.
Analytical skills, with the ability to analyse and understand data and information, and to present the findings, identifying areas of risk, opportunities & solutions.
