Our client seeks a Senior Business Compliance Administrator to join their team Role Profile: The Business Compliance function is an integral part of the Family Office team, responsible for enhancing the team's AML/CFT obligations, applying group and local policies and procedures formulated to ensure adherence to applicable legislation and regulations. The role will involve providing practical assistance, support and advice to the Family Office team on business compliance related control matters. Key Responsibilities: Assist the BCO to ensure the Family Office team meet their AML/KYC obligations on an ongoing basis. Provide maintenance and enhancement of Family Office Isle of Man's operational AML/KYC function. Draft or assist in the drafting of operational AML/KYC procedures based on guidance provided by the BCO and Group or local Risk and Compliance. Assist in the development, drafting and implementation of relevant business procedures and workflow/automation solutions, liaising with the BCO, Head of Family Office, Risk and Compliance and IT as required. Monitor completion and effectiveness of procedures, provide reporting to the BCO for delivery to the Head of Family Office, Risk and Compliance and the Board. Complete and act as the lead co-ordinator of regulatory required PEP reviews. Carry out Customer Risk Assessments and AML Risk Reviews within prescribed deadlines. Monitor and manage the completion of assessments/reviews. Assist the BCO with compilation of data for regulatory required AML Statistical returns, as required for submission to local Risk and Compliance. Support the BCO concerning completion of regulatory required Business Risk Assessments and Technology Risk Assessments. Support the BCO concerning completion of Group required Combined Risk Assessments. Support the local data protection representative on matters requested by Board and/or Group Data Protection Officer. Provide guidance to the Family Office team on the collation and review of new and existing client KYC and enhanced due diligence during the establishment of new structures. Support the BCO to ensure that new business is correctly presented to the New Business Acceptance Committee and that the client meets Isle of Man regulatory requirements. Co-operate with the BCO to respond to internal Risk and Compliance monitoring reports. Assist the BCO to investigate and clear 'Exceptions'; and 'Recommendations' raised through business actions and compliance monitoring within prescribed deadlines. Act as a risk-based knowledge expert with regard to screening processes and adverse media searches. Key Skills and Experience: Minimum of 5 years' recent experience in a risk and/or compliance role in the Financial Services industry, including trust and company experience. Advanced working knowledge of the current AML/CFT regulations in the Isle of Man. Enhanced understanding of trust and company structures. High awareness of due diligence requirements based on Isle of Man regulations. Exposure to operational functions and the drafting and/or application of operational procedures within previous roles. Comprehensive knowledge of the regulatory regime in Isle of Man. Flexible and able to multi-task, setting appropriate priorities and adhering to deadlines. Excellent interperson...
