Job description
CNC Machinist required for ongoing contract (with possibility of becoming permanent) on a 2 shift pattern at Ipswich based engineering company.
Responsibilities will include:
- Setting up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Reading and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Monitoring machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspecting finished products for accuracy and conformance to specifications
- Troubleshooting and resolve issues with machines or tooling as they arise
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience as a CNC Machinist
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine components and functions
Hours 6am-2pm, Monday to Thursday and 6am-11.30am on Friday alternating with 2pm-10pm, Monday to Thursday and 11am-5pm on Friday.
