Design Manager (High end Fit-out projects)

Salary: DOE £40,000 – £60,000 per annum

Location: Antrim, Northern Ireland

With over 50 years of experience, our client, known for excellence and innovation, is expanding. They are seeking talented and ambitious Design Managers to join their experienced Design Department.

This company is an international contractor with a reputation for excellence across luxury hotels, prime residential, commercial, and marine sectors.

As a Design Manager reporting to the Head of Design, you will lead design teams, oversee the design process, and ensure that design solutions meet project requirements, client specifications, and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design teams across multiple projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ensure design solutions meet project requirements
• Manage project budget and time constraints
• Travel to meet clients and visit sites

Requirements:

• 3rd level qualification in a building/construction or architectural related subject
• Extensive experience in managing construction projects
• Detailed knowledge of design processes and industry best practice
• Experience in fit-out projects and joinery design is advantageous
• Knowledge of BIM processes and software such as AutoCAD, REVIT, or Inventor is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Proactive and collaborative approach to resolving challenges
• Ability to manage multiple projects, organise workload, and prioritise effectively
