Job description
As the Engineering Team Lead, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the capabilities of carbon capture technologies and supporting the growth of our project capacity. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the field of energy engineering, particularly in CCUS technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, fostering innovation, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive the success of CCUS projects.

With a strong presence in the renewable energy sector, the company specializes in providing innovative and environmentally friendly solutions to clients worldwide. As part of our continuous commitment to growth and excellence, we are seeking a Senior Energy Engineering Professional to lead our team and bolster our capabilities in Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS).
Act as subject matter expert on carbon capture innovation / R&D projects.
Stakeholder engagement – acting as company representative on Client engagements/projects, advising on technical matters as appropriate.
In addition, provide technical leadership and guidance in the development and implementation of CCUS projects.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory developments related to carbon capture.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
Manage team resources, workload, and project assignments to ensure successful project delivery.
Additionally, support and collaborate on technical bid management.
Oversee the development and execution of CCUS projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
Collaborate with project managers, researchers, and other stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
Furthermore, ensure all business activities are delivered safely & HSE championed within all deliverables.
Lastly, overseeing the full, EPC value chain as appropriate on projects.
Education: Degree education in Engineering Discipline, a minimum requirement.
Comprehensive exposure to the energy industry, dealing with technical issues/projects.
In addition, technical team management experience, is highly beneficial.
Experience working within an innovation or R&D environment, highly advantageous.
Furthermore, comfortable working within a high-paced environment.
In-depth knowledge of carbon capture technologies, storage, and utilization processes.
Additionally, strong project management skills, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Moreover, familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Lastly, the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and drive continuous improvement.
