Job Description
This is a role within the global controlling and FP&A team ensuring G&A (General & Admin Opex costs) are controlled and optimized as IFS continues to expand both organically and through acquisitions. The successful candidate will support key members of the Exec team (CFO, CHRO, CSO) and the Director of Finance, Opex and GCO with regards to reporting & management of G&A costs, driving and identifying improvements & efficiencies, and partner with the business assessing investments.
- Responsible for P&L controllership of the Global G&A functions (incl. Finance, HR, M&A, Legal, ESG, Facilities).ownership of the G&A P&L, reporting and analyzing the consolidated view of actuals, producing and submitting forecasts and budget for Global G&A costs.
- Report and develop G&A KPIs and metrics
- Lead the migration of G&A costs under regional finance ownership into Global, allowing for full ownership of G&A costs across the Group.
- Lead finance business partner to CFO, CHRO & CSO. Legal Director, Procurement, Facilities Director and their teams:
- Support the G&A functions in making strategic business decisions by providing them with financial insight, modelling, working cross functionally on ad-hoc projects and ensuring IFS’s financial objectives are achieved.
- Pro-actively recommend improvements and efficiencies in processes and how spend is managed, along with identifying savings. Work with Procurement and Finance transformation to track savings and benefits.
- Establish a Facilities financial review process, ensuring Facilities costs are optimised. Ensure a Dilapidations review schedule is in place and relevant accounting policies are followed.
- Own the Audit and Tax finance process
- Review IFRS16 forecast submissions for correctness
- Ensure financial policies are adhered to and provide guidance to business and wider finance community on opportunities to maximise EBITDA.
- May be required to support other functional areas within the business with FP&A activities in order to drive efficiencies and improvements
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Finance Business Partner within General and Admin Functions such as Finance, HR, M&A, Legal, ESG, Facilities etc.
- Minimum 5 years experience in finance
- Experience within a large international corporate environment (software technology strongly preferred)
- Strong Excel skills
- University degree-educated, preferably in the field of Finance or Mathematics (or equivalent training or work experience). CIMA or ACCA qualified.
- Fluent in English language
