Job description

Principal Consultant - Civil/Structural Design

Join a dynamic environment at a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, situated in Greater Manchester. They're leading large-scale building structures that shape the skyline of Manchester & other locations in the UK. They have been rapidly growing for the last 5 years having added 25-30 new faces to the team since.

• Established structural team consisting of 2 directors, 2 engineers and 2 technicians
• Large scale varied building structures including: high end hotels, leisure centres, multi storey car parks, offices, sports & leisure and few industrial buildings
• Plenty of opportunity for site visits/surveying & report writing

• Two paid trips a year

The Requirements:

• Honour's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 3+ years structural engineering experience
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tedds, Structural Designer, ETABS, SAP2000) and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., Eurocodes, British Standards)
