Job description
Quality Engineer - FAIR Engineering / Aerospace. Our client an established name within the world of Aerospace manufacturing is looking for a Quality Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. The role will be responsible for managing and supporting internal and external quality issues as well ensuring the facility is compliant with all customer and regulatory requirements.
Quality Engineer duties include: - Supporting the manufacturing process with quality issues.
- Overseeing daily KPI's & running KPI reports.
- Driving best in class standards with RFT and scrap reduction.
- Maintaining quality standards, procedures, and specifications for the Company.
- Taking part in all external & internal Audits.
- Maintain existing procedures to ensure they meet the current guidelines.
- Developing quality standards through APQP/PPAP on new projects before launch.
- Preparing performance reports for relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting all Sigma customers with quality issues to ensure robust RCCA is carried out.
- Collaborating with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Ensuring that all processes meet safety, legal and other national or international standard.
- Manage and monitor calibration of equipment

Quality Engineer requirements: - Experience in FAIR quality and working with clients within an Aerospace manufacturing environment .
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of Partners, senior managers, and subject matter experts.
- Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements.
Hours of Work : Monday to Thursday 0730 - 1630, Friday 0730 - 1230h
