Veterinary Surgeon - Staffordshire

Purovets is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated vet surgeon to join the wonderful team at a proudly independent practice in Staffordshire. You will be working in a modern, newly refurbished building in beautiful green surroundings with well-equipped facilities. They have two theatres with orthopaedics and laparoscopy, and a separate imaging room with ultrasonography, echocardiology, endoscopy, rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy and digital and dental radiography. You will also have access to a visiting CT and MRI scanner.

You will be working with a caring team of highly qualified professionals deliver gold standard care for their patients within a friendly, family atmosphere. The practice has nine veterinary surgeons, including certificate holders in medicine and cardiology and two in surgery. For new graduates, the practice has a Vet GDP advisor to assist you and make you feel welcome and confident. They also hold Advanced Practitioner status, and this level of expertise means your clients can receive the very best treatment all within one practice.

You will be working in Stafford, a charming market town that is steeped in history and has a rich heritage that spans centuries. Stafford Castle overlooks the town and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The castle grounds provide a perfect place for leisurely walks and picnics. Stafford is well-connected by road and rail. The town's railway station is a major transportation hub, with regular train services to major cities like Birmingham, Manchester, and London. This makes it a convenient location for commuters.

Role:

- Salary up to £75,000 DOE
- 4 day week, rota arranged so everyone gets long weekend
- 1 in 6 Saturday mornings, 8:30am - 12pm consults, 4pm finish from home
