General Administration Assistant

32.5 hours per week; Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 3.15pm, term time only
Grade 4: £23,500 - £23,893 pa pro-rata
(£17,386 - £17,677 pa for 32.5 hours p/w)

Millais is a ‘good provider’ (Ofsted 2022) 11-16 girls’ comprehensive school in which the students are eager to learn and expect to be challenged in all areas of the curriculum.

We are seeking to appoint a conscientious, efficient and resourceful administrator to provide a high standard of administrative support to the Directors of Learning, curriculum areas as well as whole school events and contributing to the efficient and effective administration of the school.

Essential skills and qualifications include

• 5 passes (A*-C) at GCSE or NVQ Level 2, or equivalent experience
• high level administration skills
• excellent communication skills
• excellent skills in using ICT including Microsoft Excel and Word
• ability to work on own initiative
• good level of literacy, numeracy
