Internal Communications Executive
Locations: Ornua Foods, Leek
Hours: 36.25 per week, Monday to Friday ( some flexibility required to cover shift patterns)
Salary:Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience

Ornua is actively seeking an Internal Communications Executive to join Ornua as we continue our growth trajectory. The Internal Communications Executive role is vital to maintain our output of high quality and engaging communications material, and to ensure that our communication activities reach all colleagues across the business.

Why This Role Is Valuable:
The Internal Communications Executive is responsible for leading on;
- Source, create and curate relevant and engaging content for our internal communications channels, such as:
- Our regular newsletters
- Our digital and visual communications channels e.g. screens, desktops
- Our intranet
- Create and motivate a network of communications and engagement champions to promote ongoing activities and generate ideas; keep this network well informed and connected to all communications and engagement plans
- Create and manage the site Information Hub to provide up to date, relevant and interesting information to colleagues in an appealing format
- Ensure that all teams, in particular front-line colleagues, are provided with feedback from Be Herd initiatives
- Support creation and management of a calendar of engagement initiatives, including:
- Wellbeing calendar (Spring initiatives)
- World culture days
- Other ad hoc engagement initiatives
- Organise, communicate and facilitate our key engagement events working with our team and external service providers
- Conduct surveys to measure reach and understanding of communications messaging
- Provide support to colleagues and managers with team communications and access to digital channels
What You Bring To The Role:
- Experience in a Comms role (or related role) – could be marketing, HR admin,
- Confident with all Microsoft platforms – Powerpoint, Excel
- Content creation & proofreading across different channels
- Experience working with an intranet system or CMS
- Relationship building & communicating at all levels
