Job description
I am currently working in partnership with a progressive business based in Mid Kent who are looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for:
- Managing all accounting operations including AR, AP, GL, Cost Accounting, Payroll, FOREX, Cashflow and Revenue Recognition
- Lead and enhance the business partnering of the finance function
- Prepare and publish timely accurate monthly financial statements
- Co-ordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
- Supervise and manage staff and co-ordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Manage month-end and year-end close process including the audit process with external auditors
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Assist the CFO in presenting reports to all stakeholders
- Consolidation of group companies
- Maintain statutory registers
The ideal candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified with consolidation and manufacturing experience as well as a good working knowledge of UK and US GAAP.
