£1,000 sign-on bonus.
We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic Nursery Deputy Manager who is passionate about working with children from the age of 3 months to 5 years. The successful applicant must hold a full and relevant level 3 qualification. They must have excellent understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and have a keen belief in a child-centred approach to play and learning. The position is full time, working 5 days a week between the hours of 7am – 6.30pm. Responsibilities and Duties: Successful applicant will need to be committed to providing a caring and supporting environment where the children feel safe, looked after and be able to thrive. To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children aged 0-5 years. To lead the nursery to a high standard in the absence of the Nursery Manager. To oversee and supervise the nursery team, providing a motivating and enjoyable work environment. Liaise with parents/ carers and outside agencies on a comprehensive way. To deputise for the Nursery Manager. Support the manager with day to day office tasks where necessary. Be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager. Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are always followed. Work as part of a nursey team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5. Work closely with parents providing daily feedback on their child's day and providing support where required. Having daily adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading and helping them with their curious minds through the learning curriculum. Benefits: Additional leaveJob tags
