Eden Scott is delighted to be supporting our longstanding client on an exclusive basis, with the recruitment of a Forecasting Analyst. this is a full time staff position and hybrid working is available.
Responsibilities
The main responbsibilties will be weekly revenue/cost forecast updates for UK, Norway & Mediterranean.
- Statutory financial audit support
- SOX testing support
- Perform monthly cost and revenue variance analysis as required
- Ad-hoc provision of reports & information as required.
- Contribute to the development of the company's strategy, and work towards the company vision, goals and work in accordance the company values.
- Contribute actively to a positive communication between everyone in the company and its international divisions.
Competencies
- Higher education/bachelor's degree in finance/Accounting (desirable but not essential)
- Relevant experience may compensate for the lack of formal education.
- Experience gained from a similar or closely related position, preferably from the shipping or offshore industry
- Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritise tasks, perform detailed execution of tasks and adapt to a changing environment.
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills, be structured and highly self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently as well as contribute to a team environment.
