Community healthcare teams are employed by MFT and deployed to us, linking closely with Manchester Local Care Organisation. We have successfully delivered integrated health and social care services for children and adults over a number of years and have staff from Health and Social Care co-located and working together to deliver services to very high standards. To achieve these aims we need the right people with the right skills, who are passionate about delivering high-quality public services in an integrated, efficient and creative way. An opportunity has arisen for a Service Manager within the Children’s Universal Health Services (Health Visiting and School Nursing – relevant registration required). The post is fixed term maternity cover until March 2025 - a secondment will be considered. This is a borough-wide service that ensures that vulnerable children and adults who require safeguarding and support will be identified, assessed and receive the service they need in a timely and appropriate way. This is a multi-agency, all-age service that promotes whole family solutions that intervene at the lowest level of intrusion while still keeping people safe and meeting their needs. It uses a Public Sector Reform approach to support integrated multi-agency responses to meeting people’s needs and will support families to stay together and appropriately support each other.
