Location: Hull & East Riding Yorkshire
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: £30,000 - £43,266 per annum.
GSL Education is seeking a Qualified Teacher of English Literature to work at Client Secondary Schools in Hull & East Riding Yorkshire , starting immediately. As a Teacher of English Literature at GSL Education, you will teach GCSE students a combination of English Language and English Literature. Responsibilities – Teacher of English Literature: - Plan and deliver engaging English literature lessons for Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Provide students with a curriculum that is relevant, well-balanced, and differentiated, and offer assistance in any areas that they require.
- Build a positive rapport with educators, parents, and students.
- Ensure excellent student performance through wise direction and oversight.
- Encourage individual development in subject expertise and pedagogy.
Requirements – Teacher of English Literature : - Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and specialise in teaching English Language and Literature to GCSE level.
- Provide references for teaching experience within the last 2 years, including placements for NQTs or ECTs.
- Be a motivating and innovative teacher who can engage students of all levels.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be willing to complete additional training if necessary.
- Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one.
