Job description
We have a great new contract vacancy for a Network Infrastructure Architect to join a Global IT Service Provider.
Length: Initial 3 months
Location : Occasional travel to Solihull
IR35 Status : Inside
You will be accountable for:
- The ownership, definition, and management of the Network and Infrastructure management products to address the requirements of the business
- Being the expert on the market, technology trends and competitors to enable competitive positioning and market-based pricing relative to the products within their remit.
- Finding and articulating real customer and business value and translating business-to-technical requirements, and vice versa
- Taking input from key stakeholders to create a roadmap that will deliver the required business outcomes, working with region and global portfolio managers to ensure strategic alignment and integration with the wider portfolio eco-system to enable Fujitsu to address provocations, market requests and to extend existing business
- Performing road map planning and feature prioritization; Defining and tracking success metrics
- Creating pricing and revenue modelling
- Product Enablement - enabling Sales, Presales and Delivery to bring Products to life for a customer with relevant documentation
- Financial Performance - Financial tracking and forecasting of costs related to your area of responsibility in the finance systems
Key success factors for the role:
- Business Growth: The create and deliver a roadmap to move our existing support methods and tools to enable the Growth of the UK managed services business
- Product Sales: Products created are sold to our customers
- Thought Leadership: Be seen internally and externally as an expert in their field
- Product Quality: Products are certified as Fit4Winning compliant by design
- Training and Development: Ensure a development plan is in place to keep knowledge current and aligned with market direction
Your experience
You will have experience in infrastructure offerings management across the full product lifecycle including knowledge of Network, Compute and Storage architectural domains and a strong capability to lead multi-cultural interdisciplinary teams.
You will understand how to effectively use agile methodologies
You will have experience in senior reviews, governance and management coupled with excellent commercial, financial and business acumen, you will be a role model for interpersonal and motivational skills.
