Job description

Madisons are looking for an Assistant Manager to support our General Manager in all areas related to growth and retention.

We are a premium private training gym specialising in small group personal training (1:4), as well as strength, cardio and hybrid large-group sessions. With 400+ members (and growing) we are expanding our team to continue providing the outstanding service and coaching that we are renowned for.

This is an extremely exciting opportunity, not only because we're expanding rapidly, but because you'll have genuine responsibility and ownership of important projects from day one. You'll gain valuable management and leadership experience, whilst working closely with our founder.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our GM and ensure we meet our member retention targets
• Assist GM and founder with achieving our growth goals
• Coach 12-18 hours per week of personal training

Requirements

• Ability to coach both small group personal training sessions and large group classes
• Passionate about being part of and leading a high-performing team 
• Having a positive attitude and growth mindset

Required qualifications:

• Level 3 Personal Training

Relevant experience

• 4+ years personal training / coaching experience
• Experience delivering strength and conditioning sessions or classes to large groups (10-25 people)
• Experience leading a team
• Customer service experience.

Hours - Full-time, 45 hours per week

Starting Salary - £28,000 - £36,000
