The British International School Riyadh (BISR) is an extremely well-regarded not-for-profit, co-educational school in the Middle East, catering for students aged 3-18 across its existing five campuses, providing high quality education to the expatriate community since 1979. We are seeking a lively, dynamic Economics and Business Studies Teacher to join a thriving and collegial Humanities curriculum area. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver quality innovative lessons at GCSE and A level, in both subjects. We use the CIE syllabus for Business IGCSE, Business A Level, and Economics A Level, whereas GCSE Economics follows the Pearson Edexcel syllabus. We have a good record of our students choosing Business or Economics for university study and a successful candidate would be required to make use of current cognitive principles in planning and delivering these subjects, helping students to carry learning outside the classroom and beyond. 

Important note for applicants: This position is only available to candidates who have a degree in Business and/or Economics and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or a UK equivalent of a PGCE. Any applications who do not meet these criteria will automatically be declined.
