A Havering Secondary School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their Ofsted 'Outstanding' school.

This position is perfect for a History Teacher / History ECT looking to progress their career in a supportive and vibrant environment where you will have the ability to flourish and make a positive impact on the learning outcomes of our students.

History Teacher - Job Description:

• Inner London Scale, MPS1-UPS3 £34,502-£53,482.
• Delivering high-quality History lessons to Key Stage 3&4 students (with the option to teach KS5).
• Planning, preparing and organizing lessons to ensure effective delivery of syllabus content.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to develop the subject curriculum and resources.
• Developing the student's subject knowledge and understanding of key concepts through using a range of teaching strategies.

History Teacher - Person Specification:

• Qualified teacher status - Essential
• Ability to teach History from Key Stage 3&4.
• Knowledge of effective teaching methods and approaches to ensure student progress.
• Enthusiastic, committed and able to inspire students.
• Passionate about student progress and achievement.
• Experienced teacher and ECTs encouraged
