Finance Manager
We are delighted to be partnering with this global premium car dealership based in Manchester in the appointment of a finance manager.
On growth trajectory the business is looking for a finance manager who will be responsible for the finance function. This role would suit an individual who is looking for a step up in their career.
Reporting to the senior finance manager, duties include:
- Overall management of the finance function.
- Management of assistant accountants and team leaders.
- Preparation & review of monthly finance balance sheets.
- Oversee the completion of month end journals.
- Support credit control team, reviewing and reporting quarterly on the sales ledger.
- Support purchase ledger team reviewing and reporting quarterly on the purchase ledger.
- Preparation of the monthly group cashflow reporting.
- Carry out monthly finance presentations to the team.
- Support senior finance and accounting manager in statutory reporting to include VAT
- Adhere to and support internal and external audit processes where required.
YOU:
- Good accounting background - AAT, ACCA, CIMA or QBE
- People management skills particularly in terms of high achievement through teams and including development of self & others is essential.
- Keyloop experience - desirable
- Balance sheet experience in a motor retail environment is essential
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in the use of spreadsheets.
- Excellent attention to detail
