Job description
We are proud to be supporting a fantastic SEN School in Lowestoft, Suffolk which is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teacher for their Keys stage 2 class. The SEN Teacher will be working with learners with Complex Needs in Key stage 2 who are functioning at a lower primary level in Lowestoft, Suffolk. The successful SEN Teacher must be commutable to Lowestoft Suffolk, have a nurturing approach and have experience in educating young people with Complex Needs.
SEN Teacher Responsibilities: - Plan bespoke education for learners with complex needs.
- Work closely with other professionals, such as speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and support staff, to coordinate services and provide an inclusive approach to learner's education.
- Deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the educational and emotional needs of the learners.
- Work in partnership with, peers, parents, and carers
- Use the whole school facilities to ensure learners have access to the best possible education.
- Be part of the whole school's approach to preparing learners for adulthood
- Commute to Lowestoft, Suffolk Monday - Friday
SEN Teacher Requirements: - Be committed to striving for the best outcome for the young people you work with
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant experience
- Supporting young people with complex needs
- Approachable and have the needed attributes to engage with learners with complex needs.
- Available Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:00
